This apartment complex was built to serve graduate students at the University of Maryland. The color concept is based on the university's mascot, Testudo, a Diamondback terrapin. The common spaces were designed with erudite students in mind. We wanted to create a space students could utilize and installed work centers with plenty of room for play. The lobby reflects the culture of academia and poses an inspired question, "What's Next?" In this clean, modern concept, it's likely a lot of latte-fueled grinding.
